ELIGIBILITY & REGISTRATION

This is a non-sanctioned Basketball Tournament, which is open to all organizations for boys and girls in age groups: 10-12U,12-14U,14-18U. The tournament director will review all applications and notify your team of its status as soon as possible.

Team Registration cost for Global Cup tournament: Wednesday, August 7 -10th

Registration Entry Fees :
Early bird registration: January 1, 2012 – March 1, 2013 $599.00
Registration from March 2, 2013 – May 1, 2013: $799.00
Registration after May 2, 2013 – July 31, 2013: $1,099.00
(Teams can register up to 15 players per team)

Optional: Player registration cost for Dailey Training’s International Training Academy “Train with the Pro’s” at Global Cup on August 5 & 6th
In addition to the registration cost per team; each individual player will have the opportunity to register for a two day training academy held August 5-6th prior to the start of the tournament.
Dailey Training’s International Training Academy will offer players the chance to learn new skills and train with other players from around the world, while being led by Dailey Training’s team of former professional players and coaches from the NBA and WNBA. (www.daileytraining.com)

Teams will be selected on a first come basis. There will also be opportunities to qualify throughout the year. Additional details on dates and locations of qualifying tournaments will be announced on the Global Cup website. *In the event that an Age Division Bracket does not attain an adequate number of registered teams, the Tournament Director shall notify those registered teams as soon as possible. The teams will be given the option of playing up or receiving a full refund.

All teams must submit an online application.

The tournament director will review all applications and notify your team of its status as soon as possible. Upon acceptance into the tournament, your team entry fee must be paid in full immediately to guarantee your spot. Entry fees are non-refundable. In the event your team must withdraw from the tournament, you must notify the tournament director in writing at least 45 days prior to the tournament date and you will be allowed to transfer your entry fee to a future event.

INTERNATIONAL AND U.S TEAM REQUIREMENTS

All international and US teams must stay at the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort and purchase a registration package for each athlete, coach and spectator on the team through a Disney Sports representative. All teams must be confirmed and fully paid no later than July 1, 2013.
Each team is limited to 12 athletes.
Travel partners are responsible for the entire group's registration, documentation and necessary invoices for payment.
The travel partner will be responsible to secure from Disney and provide teams with package components to include: theme park tickets, length of event tickets for spectators to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, and wristbands for transportation.

TEAM REGISTRATION DEADLINES

All international tournament teams must be fully registered before June 1, 2013.

TEAM VISA ASSISTANCE

Only teams that have a signed contract with deposit are eligible to receive Visa assistance. Deadline for visa assistance is April 15, 2012.

TEAM CONTRACT DEPOSIT

The group or team has 1 month from the date the contract was sent out to return the contract signed with the group deposit payment.

TEAM FULL PAYMENT

Full payment must be received before July 1, 2012.
Teams that finalize all payments after July 1, 2012 will be subject to late fees, forfeit of deposit, and other penalties that could include cancellation from the tournament.

TEAM ROOM LIST

Must be submitted by July 1, 2012 using the excel spreadsheet provided by Disney.
